Went there once back in the 80s , was ok, i myself not into italian food but had many many friends that loved that restaurant. All good things must come to end . Thanks to the owner/s for serving the city of Brownsville for such a long time. Another icon of Brownsville gone . Im sure your customers will miss your establishment.
The people who made Gio's are gone. Greg kept up what his parents worked hard to create. The granddaughter who worked there would roll her eyes when she serviced customers. The recipes changed once Miss Rose passed away. Brownsville lost Gio's a long time ago. RIP
