PUBLIC VIEWING TO BE HELD SATURDAY FOR DE LOS SANTOS

There will be a public viewing and service this Saturday, April 15th at 7 p.m. at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, for Roy De Los Santos, Sr. who died Monday, April 10.

Mr. De Los Santos was a longtime officer with the International Longshoreman Association official and worked the ships at the at the Port of Brownsville. He later was elected and served on the board of commissioners of the Brownsville Navigation District. 

His son Roy De Los Santos Jr. is currently serving as a City of Brownsville commissioner. 

The following weekend, in a service and get together for family and close friends, his ashes will be laid to rest with the remains of his mother and father at the family ranch in Bayview, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 22nd.

Condolences to Roy Jr. I never met Mr. De Los Santos, Sr. but Roy Jr. was a student at Rivera HS when I was there as a teacher. He was a respectful and educated young man.
