(Ed.'s Note: When the City of Brownsville awarded the nearly $1 million COVID-19 testing and treatment monopoly to a clinic run by Physician Assistant Eder Hernandez, they also recommended to residents that they receive treatment from him if they tested positive for the virus. Hernandez was an advocate of using ivermectin, a treatment used for parasites and lice, and loudly proclaimed it was a godsend against the virus, as well as nicotine patches, basing his convictions on anecdotal evidence gleaned off the internet. He advocated its use with a healthy dose of sanctimonious religiosity. The results of scientific research on 965 COVID-19 cases found that there is no statistically significant effect on patients who used ivermectin and those who didn't. Was there something else working on the awarding of federal funds to Hernandez?)
(The following is a summary of “Association between ivermectin treatment and mortality in COVID-19: A hospital-based case-control study,” published in the January 2023 issue of Primary care by Kirti, et al.)
For a study, researchers sought to investigate whether early exposure to ivermectin could prevent mortality due to COVID-19 and to examine its impact on the length of hospital stay among the survivors.
The retrospective case-control study was conducted at a tertiary teaching hospital in India and included all COVID-19 patients admitted between 1st April and 15th May 2021 who received in-patient care. Relevant information, such as demographic details, admission and discharge dates, symptoms, comorbidities, the severity of illness, and treatment received, including ivermectin, was extracted from medical records.
Among the 965 patients who received in-patient care, 307 died during their hospital stay, while 658 were successfully discharged. The proportion of cases treated with ivermectin was 17.26 percent among non-survivors (53/307) and 17.93 percent among survivors (118/658).
The results indicated no statistically significant effect of ivermectin on in-patient mortality, with a crude odds ratio of 0.954 (95 percent CI: 0.668–1.364, P = 0.80).
Additionally, the median length of stay was similar for patients who received ivermectin (11 days; interquartile range: 7–15) and those who did not (11 days; interquartile range: 7–16).
In conclusion, the study did not find evidence to suggest that ivermectin administered in early disease prevents mortality due to COVID-19 or impacts the length of hospital stay among the survivors.

And yet, you will do nothing in reporting this to the feds. I guess the person paying you is not paying enough for you to complete the simple form and attach the documents.
When I went to get tested by the Eder Hernandez stand at the Sports Park I was not prescribed Invermectin. Just saying that I consider not getting invermectin a good thing.
no seas pendejo idiota if the citizens don't care why should anybody else care PENDEJO YOU DO IT since you are so anxious to burn somebody.... pendejo marcicon.
JOTO!
When a Mexican calls you a JOTO, he is projecting; that is, he is telling you he is the JOTO.
Dr. Eder made millions of dollars that year. The city awarded him this without a bid. The city provided the Sports Park and city police. Why doesn't the DA investigate and file charges. This was a complete fraud of taxpayer money. And you keep voting for the same people. How much did Mayor Trey Mendez made? Who gave him the authority to award this contract to pseudo Dr. Eder? Why did he use city property and city police to enable this fraud? Who authorized this?
Quack, Quack. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like duck it’s probably Eder Hernandez.
Pura pinche rata de dos patas en Brownsville politics
some of those funds paid by the cob is now being used as campaign funds. that was the agreement.
Y el DA que???? NADA NADA Y NADA. ooooohhhh excuse mua they are rich and famous.
Joto is an aztec word founded written on a wall, during an excavation of one of the pyramids in mejico. It is believed that jotos were beheaded twice before thrown down the stairs into a toilet full of jotos. So jotos just be glad this is not an aztec city, close but no cigar. JOTO straight to the source, once a joto always a joto until you meet an aztec, than you are a dead JOTO
Maricones is a different story.
How true is it that cesar Lopez also pocketed cash in this scheme ?
Don’t call this dude DR Eder whatever. He is A PA PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT.
I cant wait for the feds to look into this one, I advise you to avoid the clinic he works at as they do not know what they are doing, I showed up with a pain in my leg and that pendejo sent me home with muscle relaxers, I didnt feel right and went to the ER instead where they discovered I had a DVT, a precursor to a stroke or pulmonary embolism, that pendejo almost cost me a stroke or a near death!
The person that copied this story can't read very well...onlyblike 50 something people died not 300 something...BISD owes the person copying this story an apology

Le Pelan la verga… guy out smart everyone and to our surprise is better that most medical drs in town. Hence he has very busy locations and thousands of happy pts/followers. Also to my knowledge he is a PA and holds a Doctorate as well, making him a rare breed. He’s never said physician or MD. We are extremely grateful with him and his amazing staff. Don’t hate.
