(Ed.'s Note: Once in a while, while searching for one thing we run into another. Such was the case with the quote attributed to Joseph Stalin when he was warned that if he kept prosecuting Catholics in Russia it wouldn't sit well with the Pope. We had started reading Winston Churchill's five-volume history of WWII and and he says that Stalin said that to French minister Pierre Laval in the first volume titled "The Gathering Storm".
Many other sayings are attributed to the Russian dictator and strong man, some actually quite telling, such as the one that says that it's not the people who vote which matter, but rather the one who counts the votes and how how he counts them.
And this cold-blooded observation that " One man's death is a tragedy, but thousands of men dying is a statistic."

Are we talking about the city commissioners and all those over pay assholes who run the city of Brownsville. Cowen is a no good mayor to replace the other stupid mayors of the past. The job this new mayor had done is counting money from the taxpayers to spend on stupid projects. Bike and hike trails.
