((Ed.'s Note: The meeting notice posted by the board of the Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation for a special meeting supposedly open to the public. However, they are not meeting at their downtown office with its easy public access, but out at Camp Rio on Fish Hatchery Road on the city's northern fringes. The meeting agenda contains but one item, "Strategic Planning Workshop: Establishing Effective Goals and Objectives."
The special meeting will be held there at 4 p.m. Monday, apparently an effort to maximize public participation.
Will they address how to continue to hand out grant money to board members and their families and their circle of friends, how to turn a blind eye to projects of your well-heeled friends who don't comply with the BCIC's policies or comply with city and planning building ordinances, or how to successfully steer funds to the elected officials who appointed them, and how to influence your friends or relatives on the board to more effectively bypass the grant application process?
Then we found out that Camp Rio had been purchased by Idea Public Schools last November 2016. Could this be the "other place" that a city commissioner had mentioned as having been found to house the immigrant asylum seeker "invasion" with the $4 million given to the city by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas? Even if the immigrant numbers drop to zero like now, the city makes money. Idea Schools make money. The favored vendors of food and nursing services also stand ready to make money. And the few immigrants who are "processed" are out of sight and out of mind. Hmmm. Neat.)

TSTC employee arrested after using company card to buy furniture, food and more
Its common practice here nothing new, its one of their frenchies, and they are given a debit and credit card with unlimited purchasing and money withdrawals.

yes, yes and yes. They will continue with the fraud and graft...until the freakin' district attorney gets off his mustached ass and does something about it.
but that's not happening, is it, Toya?
Uh, no...
These ten-percenters, likely awful as company, perhaps feel isolated in their monkey business. They maybe know that nothing and no one will ever come up on them.
This is like a small group of people on a drive out into the country stopping to take a shit by the side of the isolated road, take it together.
Gente sin alma, Toya.
Gente mugrosa.
Gente apestosa.
Gente jedionda.
lo sabes.
It’s called a retreat Montoya. If you would have ever served instead of asking for handouts from those who serve, you would know.
Y’a lloron!!! Zeke as usual!!! Bien fastidioso!!! Explain how $450k went into your building and you don’t even have floors? Zeke the guy that cost everyone their campaigns! Clock is ticking for the DA, I’d stay away from this annoying mosca!!
Sincerely,
Spy-duh Mahn
This is what happens when a little mad trucker man is given his way over and over again. Who’s at fault for this the people that didn’t want to deal with this little troll, the elected officials who’s didn’t want to put their foot down, and a DA that allowed a person closely involved in his campaign resonate with him even though he has 5 DUI’s (that he hall-passed) and character issues. I have nothing to do with BCIC or anything at that, but as a concerned citizen I can feel this idiot is only putting people on this blog because he is not getting his way. I propose the BCIC look into the funds given to him and where they were appropriated in his business. As I’ve read before, 450k and no sprinkler system with no floors, so a mural and coffee bar for 450k, get out of here with that, the only rat involved in this can be found at the Roast Haus writing and typing comments on El Rrun Rrun due to little to no traffic running through that business. You small business owners giving it your best shot don’t worry about this troll.
6.2 million not 4 million
Put them all in jail where they belong and make them pay back what they gave to the rich and famous. RATAS!!
I hope the mosquitoes eat them up.

Keep in mind that in 2016 Filemon Vela was our so-called Cameron County State representative, he in my opinion was the main instigator to money making using these School entities to shelter the illegals for a profit. He and Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas should rot in hell for their greed. This is my opinion

Juan folks dont need to cry over this, there is muncho money there to be stolen, plain and simple and as you can see many of these folks are taking advantage with these large winnings, better than the Texas Lottery and with no strings attached. Doesnt the BCIC have its own attorney? Wonder who that is looks like he or she dont know the Texas EDC Laws, anyway Dale Gas. .
