Este vato! So who then should be politicians? Is there like a majic well where you can go pull out a perfect ready made politician? Politicians come from all walks of life and by the way, they are human. Some will do good, some bad, all will make mistakes, and have to make friendly decisions.
35 years thats a long time tony yzaguirre jr-me vistes has been the tax assessor, dont think eddie has enufff powder to blow up that political machine, unless eddie has luis saenz and others democrats that dont like tony on his side,, then maybe maybe maybe, long hard dream, and what about a republican candiate just saying got to throw that in the mix. could be if eddie works harder than tony but then tony already has a web set up. hopefully eddie can get more than 3000 voters to go out and vote like we had for the run off in brownsville las weekend. I have read all of these posts and while entertaining, I think we need to ask ourselves a lot of questions about him.
What are his qualifications?
What can he bring to the position?
Does he know what the job entails?
I guess what I want to know is that it is nice that he is a veteran and former law enforcement officer.
I think the question we need to ask is how do you go from his previous employment to this?
Does he have any experience in doing this job? It is a job after all, right?
Can he do it and how can he show us what he can do?
It seems a lot of people in Brownsville simply apply because they know someone who can get them elected REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEY CAN DO FOR THE PEOPLE THEY SERVE.

Eddie remember you need to be realistic, this is a county wide race and not just Brownsv ille, do you have conenctions,or family in los fresnos, port isabel spi, san benito harlingen, la feriam santa maria, santa rosa rio hondo combes, el ranchito, san pedro etc? you get the picture, its a lot of work, just saying, its going to be a lot of work and many doors to knock on. 35 years is a long time aamigo.
