SHERIFF REPORTS ANOTHER INMATE DEATH AT RUCKER CARRIZALES

The Cameron County Sheriff's Department has announced that an investigation is underway to look into the cause of death of a 63-year-old female inmate.

The statement indicates that at about 6:30 a.m. jailers found the woman unresponsive and she was taken to a hospital where she was declared dead.

Sources at the jail said that the woman was already exhibiting signs of rigor mortis when jailers came upon her in her cell, indicating that she had been dead for some time before she was found. The county's jails have been severely short handed in corrections guards and the sheriff's recruiting efforts have been stymied by a lack of applicants.

some people are diabetic, or with high blood pressure....they need their medications.

When you go to jail, who checks that you have your medications?

She was 63!

That's a life.

You get past 50 and it's all gravy.

Don't be sad because she died; be happy that she lived.

God calls you back when he wants.

Don't you worry Sheriff Garza goonie Rivera is responding from a high classified school presentation, I'm sure he is showing up without vest like always oh but he likes to get after us because of that he can't even put his correctly because of his big ass head.

CIRCUS IS WHAT THIS OFFICE IS

Hey...but we have 3 supervisors per school presentation!!! That's what important. Who needs stinking patrol. Garza will probably do away with patrol. Waste of time. Movie night is the top priority right now!

The change we needed and the protection you are getting

So a person died, just happened to be in jail at the time. Death is part of life’s stages. Can’t go blaming Eric Garza on this stuff. As incompetent and idiotic as that man is, he has no control on who dies. Rest assured that man has no control of anything in that jail , so it seems( from all the stories/ rumors throughout his administration). Maybe that person had serious underlying medical conditions and she should have taken better care of herself instead of breaking the law and being in jail. But none of us know what really happened and we’ll have to wait on rest of the story( natural causes or something else?) May she RIP.

Bruh this clerk is going to burn the SO to the fucking ground no kidding

Pretty soon there won’t be any more inmates at Carrizales. Is the sheriff the only one trying to reduce our taxes?

Why are these folk doing things that will put them in RC?

RC is the place for all the thieving politicians.

CID PIN is on the case justice will be served...

Most inmates are drug users.Autopsy will reveal. And Yes the County Judge and Commissioner's should give raises to the Sheriff Dept staff. Not to the District Judges and staff.

Several of the posts with that "she lived a full life and died. It happens every day" tone, minimizing this person's death appear to me to be by the same person. I'm guessing its someone with rank in the Sherrif's Department. However, whoever it is they are an idiot. This woman didn't live a full life, she wasn't even of retirement age. Besides, we don't know the facts of her death. Would she have died wherever she was (because God ordained it?) or did she die prematurely because of neglect in the jail ((maybe God ordained the neglect as a way to kill the prisoner)? I don't know and I doubt the poster (or posters) who trivialized this person's life know either unless they do work for the Department. In any case, why not wait until the facts are out before reaching a judgement? When you don't wait for the facts you sound like some kiss-ass politician who announces their support for some project, SpaceX and the LNG factory come to mind when the initial announcement is made. I would be a lot more impressed if they said something to the effect that the project seems like it might be a good idea that will benefit the area but they are going to hold off on endorsing it until they are fully informed (though that would probably be a lie).

I heard she was a marathon runner and had just won at a local event. Maybe her heart, too much night activity at the jail, what else?

Just like Garza blames the commissioners for his retarded administration causing 63 deputies to leave, he will blame them as well for the death of that inmate. This guy is completely lost

They are senting a message to ALL elected RATAS officials here. Land in jail and meet GOD.

This lady did live a full life. She lived such a full life that one of her life decisions was to become a criminal. Woman was way past menopause. She was probably a great grandmother already.

However, we still need an autopsy.

bids are been taken for the purchase of Mesquite Logs to fire up the brand new crematorium.
bets are been accepted as to who will be the first to be aaaahhhh, will be the first user...

any names, any bets...

Glad Sheriff Garza is transparent with all that happens. The County Jail is for prisoners awaiting trial. If she was still there must have been for a good reason. We need to have faith in our Judges.
