July 20, 2023 article reveals Brownsville and Harlingen on a list of the most miserable cities to live in, in the US( according to US CENSUS DATA). How embarrassing. So this article is just an example of the sleeping accommodations offered in our “ miserable “ town. But yet our elected officials are tripping over each other to get in line for all the perks available to them. Story after story in this blog talk about the abuse of the elite/ privileged in this town and our town suffers by making this list. What is it going to take for someone to do something about all this corruption???

Addiction is an illness and she’s a bitch to kick. Been sober 12 years but, it’s a daily struggle. She comes in all sizes, shapes and colors. Drugs, gambling, women. The lists keeps going. Have empathy for the homeless. Walk a mile in their shoes. You will get a different perspective. Paz.
There are homeless everywhere. It is not a Brownsville only problem. Austin even has tent cities of homeless people. Some of the homeless like the way they live. It is their lifestyle.
