In the first place, the respondents self-select themselves to participate and we can be sure that there are more than 98 lawyers in Cameron, Star, Willacy, Hidalgo and surrounding counties in the Cameron County Bar Association.
The percentage in the graph above refers to the number of the 98 attorneys who expressed an opinion on a number of evaluation categories, not a grade or a rating. As such, it is simply how many of the 98 lawyers who answered the survey expressed an opinion on a particular jurist, not a grade on their performance. The online survey has a number of categories, with an "overall performance" rating listed on the last category of the survey.
Additionally, since the evaluation survey was conducted online, many attorneys say that it cannot guarantee anonymity of the responder since the identity of the responder can be found with a use search. Click on link below to see what attorneys think of our current crop of jurists.
