Congratulations to the young men in the Chargers team lead by Coach J.C. Ramirez! What a personal accomplishment for all of them and what pride they bring to Brownsville.
I remember something similar when the 1962-63 Golden Eagles went all the way
to quarterfinalist and got beaten by Warren McVea. Those 62-63 Eagles should get together and ride up to support the Chargers in Corpus next week. The
athletic director should invite them as honored guests and even provide a school bus to take them all together to go watch the Chargers win and make it
all the way to state. GO CHARGERS!
Other than the family and friends, puro pinche lambiscon en el game. Using the game to get noticed and attention.
Corpus scores on the last play
Why was it not a TD?
It is time for Brownsville to have a Sports Parade.
UTRGV will soon have a band, a football team....
so the City of Brownsville should think about having a Sports Parade...it will be fun..... gymnastics, skate, bicycles, running, walking, soccer, football, baseball etc
Congratulations to coach JC Ramirez, coaches, and Players! Just remember, parents, two board members voted against this coach. They felt he was not experienced. That was Carlos Elizondo and Frank Ortiz. Gilbert Leal had gotten to them and was pushing for his guy, who was not coach Ramirez. Pena was also going to vote against this coach but did not cause she received pressure from us parents. So proud of our boys and coaches. They proved to all who were against them wrong! Now, we parents need to make sure Gilbert Leal is in check cause all the other coaches he has hired have done nothing to better our teams. Thank you to Veterans Admin, who did not back down from their recommendation and did what was right to hire the best person for this job! Remember, in November, anyone associated with Carlos Elizondo, Frank Ortiz, and Minerva Pena is a No Vote! They only help their buddies. No Vote to coach Farley. He has already made an alliance with these 3. Anyone who teams up with Carlos is not good. Remember, Carlos is a thief who steals. If you are okay with stealing and supporting that, then sorry, you should not serve on any board. Thank you to our parents who supported Coach Ramirez during the board meeting. All of us parents are thankful! Thank you to the board members who voted for Coach Ramirez! Us Veteran's Parents will stick together to make sure the right board members are voted in. Ms. Jessica and Ms. Daniella, you have our continued support.
Oh, but we have a bicycle trail marked better than the street lines on the
city roads. Pos que tiene la pinche Zavaletta-Gowen? De tal palo tal estilla!
Parade?
Our city leaders scheduled it on the same day as McAllen and los fresnos
Wow!
No common sense
Mcallen hD Michael Irvin
Los fresnos has all the North brownsville students
Piss poor planning produces ...
The city will have a wino parade first. FACT LOTS OF WINOS HERE.
juan didnt the golden eagles do battle with seguin in 1969 and didnt Porter win in 2003 with Billy Garza as quarterback? just asking, lets give credit to all those who played in the past, all schools.
Used to seeing this type of games and scores only on my TV, now I know they are real...
STATE ALL THE GUEY....
Veterans has players from all other campuses. The best players went to play at Veterans. This is not a true Veterans Team. Its a Brownsville Pace, Porter, Hanna, Lopez, Rivera Team.
Change the name of that Team to All Star Players Team.
Not hating just saying the truth.
4:11 What does it matter at this point, let that go! and get on the Chargers bandwagon my friend. Enjoy the moment! Go Chargers!!
If you go to corpus please DO NOT PARK YOUR CARCACHA ON A NO PARKING SPOT. As it is they don't like nobody from browntown...
