Word has reached us that Brownsville native and a 35-year-plus member of the Texas House of Representatives who represented the Brownsville area died today.
A Brownsville native, Oliveira graduated from Brownsville High School, the University of Texas and the University of Texas School of Law. He was a senior partner in the Brownsville-McAllen law firm of Roerig, Oliveira, and Fisher.
He served on the Business and Industry Committee, the State Affairs Committee, and the Redistricting Committee. He was a former chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee.

didn't know that about Arnulfo if true it was before my time. But one thing I did knew about him is that he treated people with respect no matter if lived on palm Blvd or you came from Cameron Park. Arnulfo didn't forget where he came from i know that to be true cause my uncles told me so.
