Chickens are different they are like a human female in that they make a lot of noise like clucking, chattering and even shrieking. If you hear females making weird noise, it might not be as uncommon as you’d expect. Here are nine noises females make, along with what they 'might' mean.
1. Low Murmuring: walking around these are happy sounds
2. Clucking: Make by mothers trying to interact with baby
3. High-Pitched Calling: Alarm cry its a warning
4. Cackling: They are pregnant and happy.
5. Chattering: Communicating for some type of retaliation
6. Chirping: Happy or distress lack of sexuality
8. Crowing: Had a good night sleep and are fullfilled
9. Low-Pitched Calling: Happy and content
