How she did it and parked the wrong way on a one-way street is beyond us. But oncoming traffic stopped and let her pull out and get back on the right way. Make sure that those idiot ticket-givers know the rules. They give tickets to anyone including the ones with handicap licenses or plaques. My car has a permanent hqndicap
license and I got a ticket and I had to go face the judge after sitting there for hours to do so and prove that I had a handicap license on my car. No apologies from anyone, but my ticket was dismissed. How in the world do they expect to get business downtown when they make it difficult for those of us who may not know how to operate those machines.
By the way, speaking of bike trails, how about some motorcycle trails. These would force those crazy driving notorcyle guys from weaving in an out of traffic at way above the speed limit, with no helmet or any other thinking. The TV ad says that we need to watch out for motorcyles cause they carry a life. Why should we if they themselves do not care about themselves by driving so recklessly. Imagine the permanent damage that is done to a person who is involved in one of those accidents that may cause someone's death.
Don't come to Brownsville, tourists stay in Harlingen, Weslaco, Pharr, Edinburg, motorcycle cops going crazy giving traffic tickets even to themselves? Downtown is for Brownsville elite drunks. The city mayor and commissioners are a joke. Brownsville is a sick town of stupidity and getting taxpayers monies for their stupid games.
People need to know the times of enforcement!!!
They used to only work from 9 to 6 PM. I doubt they have a 24 hour enforcement. I hope this helps one person not get a ticket 🙅🏻♂️🙅🏻♂️🙅🏻♂️
Issuing parking tickets? They should be Issuing parking to all city directors Incuding the city management who park their personal cars on metered parking. They are too lazy to walk two blocks to city Plaza where they do require all other city employees to park theirpersonal cars. Total Alignment?
