In 2023 you posted a Facebook post from the Sheriff's page distancing himself from the bailiffs after the arrest of the bailiff in the 445th. The corrupt 13th court of appeals found because the only evidence the bailiff ordered the courtroom cleared of all spectators is affidavits it happened, they would not rule on reinstating the constitution which allows the public to be in the courtroom. For reasons I do not know it is taking for ever for the Court of Criminal Appeals to docket it. I was there as a legalese translator for a disabled person.
I am not a party to the case. So, I can sue in federal court and under the ADA Texas has waived immunity against Judge Estela Chavez-Vasquez so long as the remedy does not go beyond costs the state should not have to pay for. There are no costs. It is just reopening her courtroom to the public and allow the aides for disabled people to aid them while in court. The bailiff will be sued under § 1983 for carrying out Estela's order which appears to have happened in chambers, which is a constitutional violation in and of itself. You watch how fast in the next two weeks how fast Garza runs from the actions of his deputies. Even if the judge controls them as he said, he still has the duty to train them not to intentionally violate the constitution.

I just moved here from el paso because I got a job at Space x. I changed my address 2 years ago and I am a registered voter here in cameron county. I don't know anyone who is running for sheriff but being an x law enforcement officer I did my research. I voted and will continue too vote for Mr. Manuel Trevino. The current sheriff is a joke in my opinion. Never have I heard of someone being a sheriff with zero experience. God help us if that gets elected again.
