Juan, you should have asked him why doesn’t he retire and leave the collection to someone young. You should have told him, he sounds like a broken record or a person that is not sure what he’s done the past 30 years. You should have asked him if he was still taking bribes or planning on doing the next for four years and how much more property is he planning to buy for resale. These are the questions and answers we want to hear.

They never did an election to ask the people if the property that belonged to the citizens of Brownsville wanted the property donated for a Tax Collection Office.
Maybe the people wanted a small park.
Maybe the people wanted Cromack to have it for parents to park and pick up their children from school.
The audacity of a person, a City commission, a school district to DONATE a property. This is bad but it was done to look like a good thing.

Voting for Eddie is like voting for Garza for Sheriff the first time. They have NO none experience in very important government positions. The Sheriff dept turned into a cluster fuk don't think we need that at the tax office imo. We need better qualified people running for office,be smart with your votes people.
@1050 am Eddie Garcia and his sister, who is a Cameron County Judge Gabriela Garcia have been bullying employees at City to endorse Little Eddie. Eddie Garcia said he will close the Southmost Office and move employees out to Harlingen. Eddie Garcia also will terminate 10 employees to reduce costs. Eddie Garcia has said that Carlos Cascos endorsed him? Also, Eddie Garcia called the Mayor Cowen, a weenie and that he will make him give up a city building. Those that know Eddie Garcia say that he will control courts.

Eddie Garcia has had an interview shown on this blog and it was to bitch about the price of the new tax office at Southmost. As far as the comment about the Garcia siblings bullying city employees, what do you expect from these two. Where did they come from, they think they are above the law. Speaking of the law isn't there some law that prohibits a sitting judge from campaigning politically for someone?? Just asking does anyone know? Can someone clarify, and if there is can anyone make her stop!!! Those Garcia people are POWER HUNGRY and will do whatever it takes to obtain it. That leprechaun looking fella has no experience or idea what it takes to run a tax office. It's the ERIC GARZA EXPERIMENT all over again(like another comment pointed out). Please voters don't make that same mistake twice!!!!

Both have a shady past. Both have been in politics too long. Both should retire. We need young energized politician's. Out with the old in with the new.
10:49 a.m. Your voice seems to be the national consensus. In terms of Biden/Trump, neither should have run. In Texas we do not have to choose between the two. No one is suggesting Biden will get the 40 electoral votes in Texas. Those 40 electoral votes are set in stone for Trump. But in this race, Eddie Garcia and his sister are bad apples. Before she was a judge, she hired De la Fuente to negotiate plea bargains with Saenz. The same man who testified under oath he repeatedly bribed Armando Villalobos, but who Saenz refused to prosecute.
Tony should be an easy vote for everyone.
