Juan its a great idea for housing i just hope that the elevators always work correctly because i remember the residents at Villa Del Sol always complaining about the elevator out of order frequently and the Brownsville Housing Authority refusing to fix them. chon

What are the requirements for living in that building? Too many rules, people will not like it. Few rules, the police will not like it.

The top floor could be a nice gambling casino with a restaurant/bar.

The Spanish-speaking kids like to call each other pendejo. That’s vulgar slang for calling someone stupid.

There goes Jose. Hold on. I’m going to try to get Jose to class. He’s cut class 10 times this week.

“Jose come on. You know where you’re supposed to be.”

“Cabron, I’m not going.”

Cabron is Spanish for asshole.

Okay Jose, I’m taking you to the principal’s office.

“Pinche Cabron.”

“Why thank you Jose. That’s the nicest thing you’ve ever said to me. Now get your butt to the Principals’s office.”

“I’m not going.”

Jose’s taking off running. I’m not chasing the kid. He’s too fast. I’ll just write him up later. Pinche cabron is how you say fucking asshole in Spanish. Phonetically that would be Peeen-chay kah-broan.

Some poor residents of all these subsidized federal programs have a nice side business, like unreported rentals, children with questionable SSI disability checks, selling tamales. They're real hustlers. Just stand in line at HEB and look at what they're buying. Some buy to resell in Mexico. It's no small wonder there are so much controversy and fraud in the Presidential elections. Some political groups are tickets for gravy trains. Churches are already stretched to the limits. The churches are giving out a lot of aid to immigrants as opposed to helping locals.

there are small RATAS and big RATAS everywhere and that's what makes this RATA country great. RATAS!!!

Another wasteful project by the city administrators. Whose making money off this deal? That building looks like its ready to fall.

Make an application to live there. Do not rent to men that are married and write in the application that they are single. Do not rent to writers, they will never get out of their room. Do not rent to hoarders....and make them sign a 10 year lease...they will damage the building. No cooking in the rooms. They will burn down the building.

Hotel Jardin is in front of Hotel Colonial. Hotel Colonial is haunted. Make sure to invite a priest to bless the Hotel Jardin before it opens to the public. People do not believe in ghosts but many people have seen them.

Hey! That is what I thought too! I was wondering 🤔 is it haunted? Brownsville's own Overlook Hotel. Instead of the Redrum Twins we can have los Cuates Mojados.

If the building is for Senior Living...do not let the grandchildren or children stay with them.... the kids will not let you into the apartments and will spend all the grandpas and grandmas money.

use rope if the elevator don't work

wait a couple of weeks and then you will see 1000s and 1000s of children there and most in diapers.
