Brownsville's own Brandon "Kid Cameron" Avila – who has upped his professional record to 2-0 with his July 6th second-round victory over Edward Hatler from Louisville, Ky., July 6 at Jacob Brown Auditorium – will enter the ring once again to defend his perfect record.
Avila knocked down Hatler four times in those second rounds before getting the TKO.
On Saturday, October 5, Kid Cameron will be part of the American team headed by Roy Jones Jr. in what is being promoted as the TransAtlantic Clash featuring the American team against a slate of European (UK) and Mexican fighters. Avila is tentatively scheduled to fight against Juan "El Diablo" Flores (3-3).

Kid Cameron looks like Kid Wimpy. 2-0! Wow. We've never seen that before, Juan. Wow!!! Wow!!!
Brownsville legend Kris Kristofferson dead at age 88.
Always has to be a Debbie Downer. This young man doesn’t need or ask you for your opinion or approval. I would pay money to see him put a glove in your
irrelevant face. Sigue hechandole ganas Kid. ✌️
