Musk seems to prefer to do his business out at Boca Chica in secret as much as he can. And the county supports that. Ask for a copy of the agreement between the county and SpaceX.. The county will not make it available. Once reason may be because they allow him to violate the agreement as he wishes. For instance, I recollect that the agreement, as reported in the paper when it was first executed, is that there would be no road closures on weekends or holidays. Launch #5 was on a Sunday and the road was closed. Launch #6 was originally scheduled to be on Monday (the 18th) but the road was to be closed on Sunday from 8-4. Fuck the agreement and fuck the people of Cameron County. We are apparently a Trump county now and that includes supporting his buddy Space Trump. Do you really think those people value the residents of Cameron County at all? What the political minions of Cameron County should fear is that they will go down with all the rest of us.
