Most voters are confused about all this. The president that was in charge when all the high prices and border issues took place: Trump and Republicans. Trump increased the tariffs, and the competing countries increased the prices and now we pay for them. The Republicans allowed for people to claim asylum: we got people from El Salvador, Guatemala, etc and now we get people from all over the world.
