The Brownsville Police Department has one suspect in custody and is asking the public to help investigators track down the primary suspect in a carjacking that happened in a restaurant parking lot in November.
BPD Public Information Officer April Luna said that on Nov. 22 patrol officers responded to a parking lot restaurant off Pablo Kisel for an aggravated robbery.
A the time, the victim Carmen Gavito posted on social media that she and her niece (in video above) were right outside the Troje Restaurant, 3001 Pablo Kisel Blvd. when they were confronted by a gun-wielding perpetrator.
"(He) pulled a gun and demanded my keys," she wrote at the time. "He didn't even know how to start the car. He took my car, crashed twice on the way to the bridge, and even then, officers of the Brownsville Police Department did nothing to stop him.
"Apparently – I was told – only 13 officers were available in the city. They said they have limited funds given by the state."
Luna said the victim had her 2024 Lexus stolen at gunpoint and that two other victims were threatened at gunpoint and feared for their lives.
On Nov. 25, auto theft task force officers arrested Jariod Raphael Orozco on three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and a count of aggravated robbery.
He remains held in the Carrizales-Rucker Detention Center on a total of $425,000 in bonds.
However, the prime suspect, Pedro Antonio Sosa, remains at large. Luna said investigators believe he is likely hiding with family or friends in Matamoros.

However, Gavito at the time said she felt that the police were not taking her case seriously.
"The detectives were a joke. They never asked if we were ok. Never asked us what the guy looked like and only asked us what he was wearing.
"They were too intrigued asking about my "original" hair color, my weight, color of my eyes, skin tone and height. I felt like the criminal."
She said she filed a complaint against the BPD at the time.
Brownsville Police are urging anyone with information on Sosa's whereabouts to come forward.

Yes but things are going to get worse for those individuals with no jobs, no money: more people asking for money in the streets
The dress made her look desperate. To me it is like she is saying "Don't look at my face. Look at my assets." With emphasis on ass. The woman lacks class and style but she compensates with money.

Though I love the Trumpinator sadly he is human like everyone else. He is also an old man 👴. I pray that he completes his four years in office and MAGA.
Yes but when the deportations get started they may start taking all the brown people they can- without checking to see if they are citizens… this happened in the mass deportations of 1933.
Montoya is an American citizen because his father was born in the U.S.

People with no jobs or money are people that refuse to work and depend on the government for assistance which is about 99.9% of the hispanic population.
I am "feelin' muhself" just for you. Ahhh!
