The Federal Aviation Administration will hold three public hearings to give people the opportunity to give their opinion on SpaceX’s proposal to launch their Starship vehicle 25 times a year from their Boca Chica location.
The public meetings are part of the FAA's permit review process. The place and time are as follow:
*Tuesday, January 7, 2025; 1:00 PM–3:00 PM & 5:30 PM–7:30 PM CT at the Texas Southmost College, Jacob Brown Auditorium, 600 International Boulevard, Brownsville, TX 78520
*Thursday, January 9, 2025; 1:00 PM–3:00 PM & 5:30 PM–7:30 PM CT at the Port Isabel Event & Cultural Center, Queen Isabella Room, 309 E Railroad Avenue, Port Isabel, TX 78578
*Virtually on Monday, January 13, 2025; 5:30 PM–7:30 PM CT
Public comments can also be submitted to www.regulations.gov under Docket No. FAA-2024-2006.

Attending any meetings regarding spaceX is futile. Elon Musk has bought and paid for the property and activities relating to rocket launches. Many corrupt democratic politicians lined their pockets off this deal. It’s too late. Quit complaining Democrats you all caused this mess.
Like you I think that meetings are only dog and pony shows. However, it is wrong to only blame Democrats. It is the fault of all politicians involved. What they do is the nature of greed. Examples Sucio Lucio was a Republican in disguise. Musk is sucking Trump's pito to get the breaks he wants. We need to look at the whole playing field.
They are lying to us, the creation of a new city: Starbase, the number of launches etc they will do what they want to do. Musk gave big money to Brownsville , to keep us all quiet. The City of Brownsville bought Street lights, then they discovered they were the wrong lights, and bought new lights and the money was gone.
My compadre says : Why the theatrics?? Why bother with meetings/ forums when nothing is gonna matter or make a difference. It no longer matters what people say or think. Its a done deal !!! The launches will happen. REGARDLESS!!! No one will stop them nor regulate them. PERIOD. The FAA, EPA, OSHA, TPWD , COURTS OF LAW, etc no longer matter !!! They can kiss their ass goodbye.They have no say so( i take that back , they can say so BUT NO ONE will listen). The same goes for the citizens of the area, you may disagree or be totally against whats going on , but every single comment will fall on deaf ears. And we can all thank ( again) our local elected officials for allowing this seemingly hostile takeover!! $$ and power is the only thing that matters now . History repeats itself—— the natives once again lose out to the white man.
