NATIVE REGALIA BILL IS PASSED BY MICHIGAN LEGISLATURE

By Melissa Isaac-Montoya

Thanks to the advocacy and determination of many people, along with the support of our Governor, Gretchen Whitmer, HB 4854 was signed into law!

It reads:

"The board of a school district or intermediate school district or board of directors of a public school academy shall ensure that a Native American individual is permitted to wear traditional regalia and to bring traditional objects to ceremonies of honor."

"The Tribal Regalia Bill" offers long overdue protections for our students and I am more than honored to have been invited to play a small part in it. Miigwetch (thank you in Ojibwe) to everyone involved for their hard work and advocacy!

(At right, Brownsville native Dr. Juan Sanchez graduates from Harvard in the early 1990s wearing a Mexican poncho.)

Dr. Juan Sanchez the crook who paid himself millions of dollars illegally from federal funds to mange Southwest Key Programs who after decades continue to operate the Texas Workforce Centers. A perfect example of a corrupt democrat who made a fortune from taxpayer money.

I keep submitting but I’m not sure if they are going through so here’s one more load just in case. I think it's too much pussy, but oh, well.

All cowboys from that era were dirty-ass punks. Their women were ugly and had hands like construction workers, lice in their hair and no menstrual pads.

Juan and every focking Hispanic in town is more Indian than cowboy. Including you!

6:59. . . Just because you wrote that it doesn't mean that you are discovering the Americans. We all know that those weren't modern times. You make yourself sound stupid.

It’s not a crime to be proud of your heritage and fly your colors. I’m not talking about your favorite football or baseball teams.
