Who is the owner of the land where the arena will be built?
If the visitor tax will only cover $50 million of the $150 million the venue/arena will cost, who or what is covering the $100 million needed to build the arena?
I voted early. Very confusing. So there will be a 2% hotel monies used for the arena. But also a 5% on car rentals and a 10% on each ticket sold at the arena. totaling a 17% for the arena. Trevino is not explaining any of this. So who is giving the 83% needed to complete 100%. UTRGV? the City of Brownsville? Anybody knows? I am just confused about all this percentages. Maybe they do not need to total 100%.
