HOW YA DOING "CHUCK," "LUCILLE," AND YOU, "ERNIE?"

(Ed.'s Note: Yup, that's Brownsville's own Ernesto Elizondo yucking it up with Patricia Pratts, the voice of Peppermint Patty in Charles Schultz's Peanuts comic strip.

The event was held at the 3rd Annual Mitte in Motion: Dynamic Arts Festival held Saturday at Dean Porter Park. This year’s festival brought a touch of Hollywood to the heart of Brownsville, featuring special guest appearances by Pratts and other artists of children's television shows. You remember Peppermint Patty as the wisecracking character who calls Charlie Brown "Chuck" and Lucy "Lucille." We call Elizondo "Ernie."

These stars joined an exciting lineup of local artists, musicians, and performers, and offered a variety of free workshops, live demonstrations, and storytelling sessions that "aimed to inspire and empower the next generation of creatives."

Sucks to be you, America. You put him there, you can take away his 'power'. Until you do, you prove to the world how absolutely WEAK AMERICA IS.

The 54-year-old wife and I rode around yesterday, a busy Saturday on the highway from Brownsville to Harlingen and back, my wife flashing her tits at other drivers, truckers especially. She gets off on it.

Why does this group host events? Why didn’t they just use that money and save the fine arts museum? Looks like fun and all….but..I don’t know. Food for thought. Probably dumb idea.

America is lost? Let’s go find her. Biden probably has her held captive.
