The site is located north of the Brownsville city core at the intersection of Paredes Line Road and Texas Toll Road 550, just a stone’s throw from the Palo Alto Battlefield National Historic Park.

So sad to see all the agricultural fields, lots, properties sold. No more sugar cane, no more oranges, no more cilantro, carrots, watermelons What will the children eat?

Local history bonds people today to the place where they are, giving them a stake in local people and local politics.
