MAGA Mike Johnson, who is possibly the worst of Trump’s minions, tried to assert that religion and the United States are somehow intrinsically related.
They are not Mike, the Constitution is clear and the founding fathers were very clear about the importance of this separation. They had just won their independence from a monarchy that was also the head of the church, they understood how oppressive a theocratic system could be.
To avoid any religious institution from controlling the government and forcing itself on the people they purposely founded our country with a strict separation between religion and government.

Democrats are against religion in schools but are for LGBTQ books in our schools. 9.3 % of the US population identifies as Queer where 62% identify as Christians . Democrats are on the wrong side of the percentages in an attempt to gather more votes. If a parent doesn't believe in christianity they can easily send their kid(s) to a private school. Our country was built on christianity. Democrats opened the closet doors to these freaks of nature. Time to send them back. Democrats have been on the wrong side of public opinion for years.
At least queers are real.
You are wrong, Montoya. The words, separation of church and state are not in the constitution or declaration of independence. The religious influence is there. It doesn't mean that we are a theocracy. I am an agnostic and even I know that.
