“POTUS is clearly furious. It’s the first time I’ve seen them sort of paralyzed," a person close to the White House told Politico.
POLITICO reports that a senior White House official told them that Trump is "frustrated with his staff’s inability to tamp down conspiracy theories they once spread and by the wall of media coverage that started when Attorney General Pam Bondi released information from the Epstein case that was already in the public domain."
“He feels there are way bigger stories that deserve attention,” the official said.
A White House ally revealed that Trump's frustration over the scandal is due in some part to his awareness that it's a genuine "vulnerability." Much of the MAGA base is demanding answers and some are even starting to defect against the administration due to the continued stonewalling.
"They’re the ones that opened the can of worms on the Epstein conversation. No one made them do this, which makes it sting even worse,” the ally said.
"They would like to move on and talk about the things they think are Ws,” they added. “They are really annoyed that it’s an overshadowing news cycle.”
The truth, of course, is that none of the things that Trump claims as "Ws" are actually victories for the American people. The "big, beautiful bill" will kill countless Americans through its $1 trillion cuts to Medicaid and the world economy is still reeling from his destructive and pointless tariffs.

"House members are worried and it’s screwing up the schedule,” said the individual who is close to the White House.
“There have been points of significant pushback behind the scenes where the House has rolled over. But now the Rules Committee rebelled against the speaker over something POTUS finds embarrassing. It’s a big ass deal. You’re looking at a straight congressional rebellion."
The solution here is simple. Release the Epstein files.

So what if Trumps name is on the list? So what if he made numerous visits to the island? So what if he was pictured with Epstein? Where is the proof he committed a crime? Bill Clinton’s name is also on the list? So what? Obama had numerous pictures with Michael Jackson. Does that make him a child molester?

They had files years ago, but never released them, possibly dating back to when Clinton was in office. So now Trump may have a little leverage with some people who are on those files. Don't want to lose that leverage.

Somewhere in the recesses of his childhood, a combover formed and never left. The American Ozymandias. Look on my Diet Cokes, ye mighty, and despair. Blinking at the teleprompter like it owes him a hit of something. The flag he hugs is begging for a restraining order. Death drive disguised as campaign rally. A god-king of resentment preaching to the wounded while counting their wallets. Hair like a frightened ferret clinging to scalp for dear life. He doesn’t sweat because he is not alive in the traditional sense.
People should wail for the boy. The nuclear codes once lay within reach of that tiny, trembling finger. A thousand agents scanning for his name in sealed files, like monks translating the Dead Sea Scrolls of sin. Every agent finds it. Again and again and again. He is the dream of an empire gone septic. He is the last reality show before the grid goes dark. He is America’s swollen foot, ignored, infected, and now too far gone for anything but amputation.

But a photo is not a vibe, and a flight log is not a Facebook tag. With all the media frenzy regarding the Epstein files I have one simple question. Where are the victims? They hold the truth not Ghislaine Maxwell. She’s only looking for a deal to get out of prison.
