Mr. Kristofferson did not like the people of Brownsville. What did his T-shirt read? Something about smelling the wetbacks...

Let him go.

¿Debe la Iglesia negociar con los narcos?

Tarde que temprano vamos a entender que el principal problema de salud pública que tenemos es el de la violencia, es el odio en países católicos que causa muerte.

Mr. K was an exceptional product of Brown town who never returned. He's like so many others. Federico Pena is another.
Can't recall others for the moment. But wasn't there a Munoz from Chicago politics who was born and raised in Brownsville.

He frequently returned to Brownsville, which he considered his favorite place on earth. Despite his family moving around due to his father's military career, they always returned to Brownsville until Kris was eleven. He even represented Brownsville proudly throughout his career, wearing a Brownsville-Matamoros t-shirt on the cover of Esquire magazine in 1981.

Kristofferson's connection to Brownsville was well-known, and he returned for local concerts and other events. Brownsville also honored him after his passing with plans for a Cultural Revival and Musical Revue District, featuring the Kris Kristofferson Events Park.
