You don’t cut property taxes in Texas without the local effect of appraisal districts raising your evaluation. This is the plan. Cut property taxes and the real estate owners in the government and their lobbyist friends increase their profits when counties raise appraisal to get the needed tax money.
If flood preparedness, ending the STAAR Test, and cutting property taxes are state priorities, why is gerrymandering first on the list of a redistricting plan Texas Republicans just passed a few years ago and is not scheduled until 2030, because redistricting is done every 10 years. Republicans going around federal law of redistricting can and will backfire, because other states can go around federal and state statues and do the same thing. Republicans might pick up 5-6 seats but Democrats can pick up 20. So before you MAGA start applauding Texas look at what you stand to lose.

Thank God that I have always been able to support myself and my family. I have never needed big government to support me.The problem with democrats is that they have become accustomed to handouts. Lastly, If our governor is so bad why have numerous major companies relocated to our state?
