WHAT A NOBEL PEACE PRICE WINNER LOOKS LIKE. HINT, NOT LIKE DJT

(Nelson Mandela was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993, jointly with then-South African President F.W. de Klerk. Mandela and de Klerk, despite their different backgrounds and perspectives, were able to negotiate and achieve a peaceful transition of power, demonstrating immense political courage and a focus on reconciliation over past grievances. This award highlighted their dedication to peace and justice, and their ability to bridge deep-seated divisions. The prize also served as a symbol of hope for the peaceful resolution of similar conflicts around the world.)

Special to El Rrun-Rrun

Donald Trump and his cult of followers should read this story, particularly the last couple of paragraphs. Thanks to Nelson Mandela, truer words were never spoken.

"After I became president, I asked my escort to go to a restaurant for lunch. We sat down and each of us asked what we wanted.

On the front table, there was a man waiting to be served. When he was served, I said to one of my soldiers: go and ask that gentleman to join us. The soldier went and conveyed my invitation to him. The man got up, took his plate and sat down right next to me.

While he ate his hands trembled constantly and he did not lift his head from his food. When we finished, he said goodbye without looking at me, I shook his hand and he left.

The soldier told me:

Madiba that man must have been very ill, seeing as his hands didn't stop shaking while he ate.-

Absolutely no! the reason for his trembling is another.

Then I told him:

That man was the warden of the prison where I stayed. After he tortured me, I screamed and cried asking for some water and he came humiliated me, laughed at me and instead of giving me water, he urinated in my head.

He is not sick, he was afraid that I, now president of South Africa, would send him to prison and do to him what he did to me. But I'm not like that, this conduct is not part of my character, nor of my ethics.

′′Minds that seek revenge destroy states, while those that seek reconciliation build nations. Walking out the door to my freedom, I knew that if I didn't leave all the anger, hatred and resentment behind me, I would still be a prisoner."

Take that, Winnie.

Nelson Mandela sent a message from the grave to his former wife of 38 years on Monday, leaving her completely out of his $4.1 million will, it was announced.

Executor Dikgang Moseneke read the bad news, at least as far as Winnie Madikizela-Mandela is concerned, to members of Mandela’s family. Moseneke said he is not aware of any challenges to the wishes of the legendary South African anti-apartheid leader, who passed away in December at age 95.

She was one of the wives, not SIDEPIECE.

The 77-year-old Winnie, famously known as “Mother of the Nation,” is a strong activist in her own right. She was often tortured and imprisoned for her own anti-apartheid views and passed on the message of her husband, who was in prison for most of their marriage.

I don’t know Juan, maybe 🤔 she didn’t do enough on her knees.

Trump should not even be mentioned in the same context with Mandela. Mandela was intelligent, humble and continues to inspire generations even
after his passing. Read his autobiography, Long Walk to Freedom.

Your words are testament to how out of touch this world has become.

Nominate this guy for the Nobel Literature Prize.

It’s not the Noble Peace Price. It’s the Noble Peace Prize. If you’re going to criticize one of the greatest presidents the US has ever had at least brush up on your grammar. If anything Donald J. Trump should receive the Nobel Peace Prize for being able to bring the price of eggs down and keeping the price of avocados and Corona beer stable.
