No Mexicans do not lie. They speak the truth with jokes, with pleasantries, and keep you in your toes trying to figure things out on your own. "Bienvenido, un gusto verlo, pasele, con confianza" and you start doubting yourself. They really mean it, or NOT? "En un minuto, ahorita, cerquitas" Mexicans are closed people, they do not open up to most people. Only to friends do they speak freely.
