Less that 24 hours after Noticias RGV news director Zoltan Csanyi Salcedo was let go by the broadcast station, a massive layoff of station personnel ensued.
Salcedo bid farewell to his staff and viewers via email where he indicated that the station management had abruptly put an end to the news staff and reporters. And so another source of information and news service has closed its business, leaving gap for its steady viewers.
Zoltan mentioned in his email that the management didn't even give him an opportunity to bid farewell to his news colleagues but reminisced about the many achievements the news department had
incorporated during his tenure as news director.
