Instead of wasting time on photo shots Abbott and Costello should get to work. Always begging for more money but always failing to produce a winning product. The district has failed our youth. They graduate not knowing how to read or write. I don’t think new buildings or refurbished buildings will make a difference. Stop the waste, fraud and abuse. If there is a need for additional money, sell those schools no longer in use. The voters of our community should demand accountability! The district is full of corruption providing additional funding will only be adding fuel to the fire. Vote NO to the proposed bond.

Dear BISD administration and teachers. Thanks for the garbage education you provided me. You made it difficult to compete with students from good school districts. I will always vote no for giving you tax dollars to steal. I wish I would have had the opportunity to go to a charter school…
BISD teachers are posting signs outside their homes supporting the bond. Those are loyal teachers.
The problem is the district leaders don’t/won’t/can’t make the tough decisions required in these times of declining enrollment. They would rather be loved then respected. IT’s a SHAME.
They are pressing and threatening BISD employees hard. And telling them to get their families and friends to vote yes. They are afraid of loosing their jobs…

Time for Commissioners and neighborhood leaders to take over the schools. Each neighborhood should be responsible for the maintenance of each campus. We have electricians, plumbers, architects, labor force and painters in the hood. We can clean, remodel and fix the schools during the summer and during the weekends. It will not take millions, billions and trillions to accomplish this.
People in Brownsville are to stupid to understand this…

Studies show that public school students and charter school students are both on equal playing fields once they get to college.

Students do not want to study. Students do not want to learn. They want what they see on TV. Sex, money and violence. It is up to the parents and family to guide the students as they enter every stage in their lives.
