Social service programs started during the Great Depression when people really needed help. The depression ended many years ago, but these expensive programs still continue. I believe that certain programs are not really needed. However, we need to review these programs and keep a close eye on them. I believe that rich people have not contributed their fair amount. So, why didn't Obama take any action on it during his eight years in office? Also, we shouldn't overlook Biden, who served as president for four years. Government leaders should make sure everyone pays their fair share of taxes, set limits on how long people can hold political jobs, and get rid of all lobbyist positions. This is simply a wish list. If this were to occur, our government would work in a truthful, effective, and efficient manner.
