“Katie would not have wanted this,” Lorence wrote. “She would not support scaring kids with the use of military efforts in their neighborhoods or in their apartment buildings.”

The real Katie Abraham believed in compassion, not fear. Healing, not hate. Bridges, not walls. Yet the MAGA machine saw only an opportunity — another life to exploit, another story to twist, another name to drag into their endless war on empathy.
