TRUMP BLOWS UP AT REAGAN FOR HIS ANTI-TARIFF STAND

Special to El Rrun-Rrun

It looks like Donald Trump had another late-night meltdown this time over a TV advertisement from Canada that quoted Ronald Reagan. The ad, backed by the Canadian government, was meant to remind Trump and Republicans of Reagan’s more cooperative trade philosophy, urging them to reconsider Trump’s heavy tariffs that are harming both economies.

But instead of engaging diplomatically, Trump fired off an angry post on Truth Social, accusing Canada of running a “fraudulent” campaign. He claimed the ad used “selective” clips from Reagan’s old speeches and insisted that the Reagan Foundation was “reviewing legal options.”

Trump then went a step further announcing that, because of this so-called “misrepresentation,” he would increase tariffs on Canada by another 10 percent. Yes, you read that right a serious economic decision triggered by a TV ad.

For many observers, this incident highlights a bigger concern: the instability and impulsiveness of Trump’s decision-making. When the leader of the world’s largest economy reacts to televised criticism by escalating tariffs, it sends a troubling message to allies around the globe.

No country can plan long-term partnerships when U.S. policies seem to depend on the President’s mood swings. Until the White House returns to steady, rational leadership, America’s credibility and global trust will remain at risk.

I'm no fan of Reagan. But he would not be welcome in Trump's MAGA cult.
That GOP is gone. It's been replaced by hypocritical, flag-desecrating orange
Jesus-worshiping cretins. FOX-parroting bigots and xenophobes populate the MAGA cult. They control all branches of government and SCOTUS and they still can't keep the government open.

The Canadians posted an out of context quote and were even called on it by the Reagan Library. Get your news straight, Juan. You and the left wing media were wrong on tariffs.

The Trump administration will be using SNAP and hunger as leverage in the government shutdown battle. Emergency funding was created and is available for these types of
scenarios. But the MAGA king has never cared about those less fortunate than himself. The majority of SNAP recipients are in red states.
You get what you voted for.

All Blue States need to stop sending their money to the Federal Government and fund their own states. We cannot afford to be donor states under these conditions.

9:05 Tariffs have elevated prices on food and goods. TACO Trump is changing his mind on tariff percentages again in regard to China and Canda. Where did the blogger get this wrong?
What was correct on placing tariffs on islands inhabited by
penguins? No people. MAGA, defending the indefensible.
