Ever wonder how DHS Secretary Kristi Noem can be in Texas today and in Hawaii by tomorrow morning. Easy, she jets around on her private jet paid by you and I the taxpayers.
The DHS has apparently spent $172 million of taxpayer dollars for two Gulfstream G700 private jets to accommodate her busy photo-op schedule according to documents reviewed by the New York Times .
So far no information as to when the jets will be delivered, what funding source is paying for the purchase, and who reviewed or approved the said purchase.
Republicans found $200 million for a ballroom at the White House, $72 million for Trump's endless golf trips, ICE agents get $50,000 sign-up bonuses and student aid forgiven, $1 million per day to occupy American cities, $3.8 billion to send to Israel and $40 billion to bail out Argentina’s economy.
But there is no money for healthcare. Millions of Americans in red and blue states are going to lose their ACA OBAMACARE health insurance credits and Trump and the Republicans just don’t care.
Federal workers are either being furloughed without guarantee that they will ever be paid according to the Government Employee Fair Treatment Act of 2019 or they are being forced to work without pay.
Americans are struggling with high tariff prices and MAGA ICE Barbie is living a lavish lifestyle on the taxpayer dollars.

Why aren’t you more concerned with our city, county, and BISD administrators driving around in brand new gas guzzling suburban? They actually even take them home. Free trucks. And free gas for personal use. How nice. Is this one of the reasons the local taxpayers are faced with property tax increases yearly? But maybe reporting on this is not convenient for you since all local politicians are democrats. I can assure you there is more waste with the city, county and BISD than our federal government under Trump. Fact! Why not request an audit by DOGE and prove me wrong?
You are an anonymous citizen. Why don’t you request an audit report from the city, county, BISD instead of complaining and asking somebody else to do your complaining and reporting?

Mr. Montoya can concern himself with whatever he pleases, it's his blog. Your claim that he doesn't concern himself with local politics is a strawman fallacy, of course he does he's a local blogger. He's beaten that horse so many fucking times. I find it refreshing when he talks about political movements and historical figures that have nothing to do with local politics.
Every damn county and ISD in Texas is increasing property taxes and closing schools, all trying to pass bonds, all at once and at the same time. It's either just about every school, county, and city board in Texas are incompetent and corrupt and can't balance a budget or it can be Abbott's policies that are destroying our school system, environment, and communities?
But you want me to concerned about our local elected officials and ignore the reason why the entire state's school system and healthcare is in jeopardy? And at the same time have industry come here and just devastate our protected wildlife and land and pay no taxes? No, thank you!
I'm concerned about our local leadership mismanaging money. . . state and federal leadership mismanaging money as well. I can do both, can you?
