Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum has once again rejected Donald Trump’s threat to send U.S. troops into Mexico, saying, “It’s not going to happen.”
Trump recently suggested he might authorize strikes in Mexico to fight organized crime, saying he was “not happy with Mexico.” Sheinbaum said the U.S. later clarified it would only act with Mexico’s permission — permission she will not give.
“We do not want intervention from any foreign government,” she said, pointing to the Mexican-American War as an example of what happens when U.S. troops enter Mexico.
Sheinbaum has repeatedly denied reports of potential U.S. troop deployments, saying, “We do not agree with interference or intervention.” Meanwhile, Trump continues pressuring Mexico on drugs and migration, even as he calls her “a tremendous woman.”

It's obvious now that she is intimidated by the drug cartels. The recent protests in Mexico city werecagainst her.
