Most of the companies that moved to Texas was a Republican strategy to take a stronger control of the elections and the results. They moved more Republicans into Texas. The School Choice was to help the rich keep their private schools only for the rich. Tax Cuts: only for millionaires and Border Security: to appease the MAGAs.
The Texas governor is good for the Republican Party and that is all.
Abbott is a Trump stooge. Gerrymandering the state when Trump snaps his fingers. Sends the DPS and National Guard to the border costing millions of taxpayer money. He pardoned a man convicted of murder by a Texas jury. He looked the other way as Ken Paxton is exonerated after years of breaking the law. Texas will do just fine without him.
