What’s going on at San Benito CISD?
Moving principals around in the middle of the school year, in the middle of the week?
Principal at Frank Roberts Elementary is being let go, but she’s moved to main office still getting paid? That’s right. Tax payer dollars. The principal at Oscar De La Fuente Elementary is being moved to Frank Roberts?
Word on the street is that the current principal at Oscar De La Fuente is retiring at the end of the year. So why move him now? What about the stability for kids and teachers? The assistant principal of Oscar De La Fuente will be promoted to principal without advertising it for others to apply.
Why?
Now it seems the person getting the promotion without interviewing was a former teacher at the school where the current assistant superintendent was principal back in the day. By the way that assistant superintendent has promoted several of her former employees? Some are in principal positions, while others are directors.
Why is creating a circle of loyalist? Well, I think we all know. Could it be so that things can be swept under the rug, if need be, with no push back? I have also heard that at the school where the assistant superintendent was principal, several teachers are being investigated for cheating on the STAAR test. It’s been said that some teachers were helping students during the test so that they can receive their test bonuses.
You see, the only way to get a bonus is for your kids to pass the test. But since the assistant superintendent knows these people, it’s been real hush hush.
My question is, where’s the superintendent in all of this? I guess the assistant superintendent has been given the go ahead by the higher ups or are they blind to it or maybe covering it up? Do you think things will ever get better with these kind of tactics?

So what???
Tell me you're stupid just by being stupid.
As a retired administrator and Navy Pilot, I can answer all those questions. Corruption and dumb people that hook each other up. Mark my words… before trump takes us into WW3 all the public schools will be out of business. And guess what Mr. Montoya they will draft us, not today’s fools that don’t know 3+2

Mexican Navy. He forgot that part.
Well were is PAPAs in all this ? Not far off I suspect. Well he better get his bucks in a row or julianito will take him this time.
If Donald Trump vetoes the Epstein Files Bill, the House and Senate need to move against his ass. Move fast. Time to flush the crap ....
It's ironic that Trump is dragging his enemies into court, under false narratives, but we can't manage to even charge dear leader for the horrific crimes he has committed against children.
Little girls!!!
I don't know what happened but you need to snap out of it? No one knows who you are and no one gives a shit you're "a retired administrator and Navy Pilot!" You could have been a shade tree mechanic or a clown who sold peanuts at a circus. NO ONE CARES! STFU! Schools closing, WW3, the Jmon's draft and it's 2+3 = 5, you're all over the place.

Mr. Montoya: Why are you questioning San Benito ISD while Brownsville ISD has a Superintendent that lives in Harlingen, a Principal from Stell middle school that resigned, a principal from another middle school demoted to Assistant principal (moved from Oliveira as a head principal to Veterans as assistant principal) in the middle of the school year? Could it be that the Super paid you or the president of the board? to push for the bond that didn't pass. I went to the Superintendent breakfast at CAB where they pushed and pushed the bond and didn't answer questions from the general public (very few), then I went to the breakfast with the superintendent at lubys and I saw how VERY FEW people were there.. the ones that were there were school employees. They had shirts with names from the respective campuses . It amazes me how you and other persons who applaud or criticize Cowen, the school district and other political people, I have NEVER SEEN THEM question or talk in those meetings. I've been there. Being anonymous gives me the opportunity to see who talks, who shows up (or doesn't). Real journalism (I am not a journalist but a plain citizen), doesn't take sides. It takes truth and reality check.
It is a good policy to promote teachers, assistant principals etc that work for the school district when appropriate. Some clerks, some teachers go to school after work to get more certifications and they are rarely given a chance to advance in their careers. Good for San Benito to promote their own staff and to be always looking outside to find stars for the district.
Your service isn't worth shit, traitor.
You just can't keep up with the news.
Where is the evidence? You can't even think logically.
The problem with most school districts is that the board micromanages upper administration. So most decisions are board driven or the board agreed to hiring a certain person so they can get something they want in return. Now if someone was promoted without applying, because you can open to internal applicants only, then that’s a BIG problem. Again politics involved. Just my experience as an educator.
Both San Benito and Brownsville school districts are a joke. Brownsville tries to go after a bond and San Benito is trying to make good on a bond passed in 2018. TAXPAYERS FOOTING THE BILL CUZ YOU”VE GOT TO PAY THE BOND BACK. Not a no cost grant.
