Something amazing is happening across the nation, and it’s giving Democrats a reason for hope for 2026.
In Miami, Eileen Higgins defeated her Trump-backed opponent with a 60-point swing from Trump’s 2024 margin.
In northeastern Georgia, Eric Gisler flipped a deep-red House district that Donald Trump won by double digits.
And in state after state, voters are rejecting MAGA extremism and choosing leaders who actually fight for working families.
This year, Democrats have flipped 25 Republican-held state legislative seats. Republicans have flipped none.
These aren’t isolated wins. They’re a clear pattern. Voters in districts that went for Trump just a year ago are choosing Democrats now because they know that Trump hasn’t kept his promises to working Americans, and his allies are dragging this country backward.

These victories across the country show us that we have what it takes to beat Greg Abbott in November.
But to harness this momentum, we need to organize earlier and reach voters in every corner of Texas.

These early rumblings do give hope, but MAGA will always be MAGA. The racist likes being a racist, especially now that he/she can do it out in the open.
