Japan doesn't give residency nor Citizenship to people not born in Japan. You can marry a Japanese, you only get a Visa for two or four years. That's it.
What does Japan law have to do with the US? The history in the US is so clear. If your parents were from Germany, and you were born in the colonies you were automatically a British citizen.
If your parents are illegal, you are an American Citizen.
The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, adopted in 1868, addresses citizenship rights and equal protection under the law, particularly for formerly enslaved individuals. The civil war is history. Time to eliminate the 14th Amendment.
The US is the only country in the world that offers birth citizenship. Well and also all the countries in North, South and Central America. Total: 34 countries that speak Spanish. Go to Argentina and you are born Argentinian. Go to Venezuela and you are Venezuelan. Go to Germany and you are not German.
