It’s really bad, my $800 dollar budget for groceries and gas per month I’m now paying around $1700 monthly for the same things. It’s ridiculous. And I live in Cameron County.

New reporting is suggesting that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth violated multiple rules of war. Time to hang his air-conditioned ass.
In interviews with the Washington Post, military officials expressed concerns that Bradley would be expected to take the fall for the operation following the White House’s latest framing of events:
“This is ‘protect Pete’ bulls—,” one military official, who, like others, spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal conversations, told The Post.
Press Secretary Leavitt’s statement “left it up to interpretation” who was responsible for the second strike that killed the two survivors, a separate military official said, imploring the White House to provide clarity on the issue.
One official said of Leavitt’s statement, “It’s throwing us, the service members, under the bus.” Another person said some of Hegseth’s top civilian staff appeared deeply alarmed about the revelations and were contemplating whether to leave the administration.

I guess you need to work on your budgeting skills. Gas prices are currently lower than they were during President Biden's term, where they reached an all-time high of over $5 per gallon in June 2022. As of now, the average gas prices have fallen to around $3.51 per gallon. As for groceries the USDA Economic Research Service reported that the all-food Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 0.3 percent from May to June and was 3 percent higher than June 2024. It also projected overall food prices would rise 2.9 percent this year and 2.7 percent in 2026. So at 2.9% percent this year if you spend $300 a week on groceries you will be paying $8.70 more. Now if you can’t afford that get another job or get on a diet.
