Adan Aguirre Manrique, wanted on three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the stabbing of three people during a fight outside a bar on Pablo Kisel Blvd., is said to have fled to Mexico.

Brownsville police spokesperson Officer Abril Luna said the three people who were stabbed were attempting to break up the fight. Two of them were hospitalized, and an 18-year-old man remains hospitalized in critical condition after he was stabbed in the face.

Luna said Manrique is in Mexico, and police are working with federal and Mexican authorities to bring him back to the country to face charges.

That area is known as the bar district, an area described as “problematic.”

“The calls vary,” Luna said. “Public intoxication, indecent exposure, people urinating in public areas, fights, disputes."

Because of the amount of calls, Luna said the department increased the amount of patrols in the area.

Donald Trump asegura que "no descarta" la posibilidad de una guerra con Venezuela

Según Trump, no es necesario el visto bueno del Congreso para que Washington lleve a cabo un ataque terrestre en territorio venezolano.

Mr. Montoya, I always expect the worst from commenters here, but some of these chaps do need to rein in their silliness.

This area of town is where the bystander effect is perfectly acceptable. I hope the city places pedestrian lights, speed bumps, and a 10mph speed limit. This entire area is a fucking problem and AI surveillance is needed, alcohol is served there, get to it. Thank You Jesus!

Lighting, surveillance, a speed limit and speed bumps.
No young man deserves to get stabbed on a Saturday night for doing the right thing. This is just bullshit.

What - not a downtown cantina?

Que pinche sorpresa, bro.

Puros rucos downtown, I'd say. Too old to fight, quick to bleed. Better chug the Corona slowly and go home to Mama in one piece. Todo pedo, but in one piece.

This is a rite of passage: alcohol, violence, partners, hospital, jail, money. The story is in the relatives, the parents, the grandparents. Their babies are grown up and hurting themselves.

The obsession with booze and bars is evident in rash of children named after nightclubs and alcohol brands.

If you are a parent you need to know where your teenager is at in the wee hours of the morning. Lugares de mala muerte.
