Weather Update | Regular Schedule
All Brownsville ISD campuses will resume their regular class schedules on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Bus routes will operate as scheduled, and students and staff should report at their normal times.
District administration will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and will provide updates should any changes be necessary to ensure the safety of students and staff.

Todas las escuelas de Brownsville ISD reanudarán sus horarios regulares el martes, 27 de enero de 2026. Las rutas de autobús operarán con normalidad, y los estudiantes y el personal deberán presentarse en sus horarios habituales.
La administración del Distrito continuará monitoreando de cerca las condiciones del clima y brindará actualizaciones si se requieren cambios para garantizar la seguridad de los estudiantes y el personal.

Just a matter of time before they have ICE waiting for parents to pick up their kids. I remember Erasmo Castro used to say they used to drop off kids at the bridge and they should do something about that, expel and deport. Now they are! What does the BISD board think about ICE agents waiting to catch a couple of wetback kids? OH! You don't like the language? I don't like your policies, you better have some!
There's an inertia to violence it just takes one soldier or cop to put others in a frenzy to kill. There's a pattern of human behavior that always repeats itself. The My Lai massacre, Wounded Knee, Tulsa, ect. . .just a matter of time before they become death squads.
A lot of those students are US citizens. There are some students that are wet backs but those hide .
Those students are American Citizens. Every day they cross the bridge. They have rights. Protect those students.

They dont know what an immigrant or a migrant is either, they only see race. They're as dumb as a box of rocks. As long as they're superstitious, uninformed, bigoted, and miseducated Trump loves 'em.

If you piss off the wrong people, they will set you up and fire you for insubordination. Then they wonder why we are all sending are children to charter schools? The “super” makes 500k a year to do nothing but claim “brain tumor”. I would never do anything to mock someone’s disability but step down then asshole. On a side note.. for the 7 readers which is actually the same bipolar guy with 7 different personalities (I am the 8th reader, a real person, Chelsea)
Let the district die. Trust me, nothing but corruption exists there.
