The local politicians sold the property. They have kept these funds quietly hid. Don't blame Republicans blame yourselves for being stupid and voting into office corrupt politicians. Find the money and STFU.

Texas can easily take it all away, Texas can close SpaceX tomorrow, Texas can take any funds from SpaceX any time they want.
