IS IT ANTI-SEMITIC TO SHOW ISRAEL'S DISDAIN FOR CHRISTIANITY?

Meidas Touch

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed the authenticity of a photo circulating online showing an Israeli soldier smashing a statue of Jesus Christ in southern Lebanon.

The image, which has spread rapidly across social media, appears to show the soldier using a sledgehammer to destroy a crucifix in the Christian town of Debel during recent military operations.

In a statement, the IDF said it has identified the incident and that “appropriate measures will be taken against those involved” under the Northern Command.

The incident is already drawing outrage, particularly given Debel’s Christian population, and raises serious concerns about conduct during operations in civilian areas.

There was probably not a Palestinian civilian available to be slaughtered.

No, I don't think it is anti-semitic to show Israel's distain for Christianity but I do think it is anti-semitic to represent that a single soldier's action speaks for the entire country.

What is the reason for all the commotion? Merely 45% of Democrats identify as religiously unaffiliated, which encompasses atheists, agnostics, and individuals without a specific religious tradition. Furthermore, Jews do not recognize Jesus as God, and the presence of statues depicting a crucified God is viewed as an abomination. A Jew who removes a Christian statue believes he is adhering to the first and second commandments, a sentiment that many evangelicals also support. Therefore, why is it such a significant issue if this action does not accurately represent the way Christians live in Israel?

Trump needs to stay off social media. His threats during a two week ceasefire is amateurish brinksmanship. He waded into quicksand and is now stuck in the bog. Iran has not lobbed a single bomb towards the US. He got played by Netanyahu. This administration is floating like a rudderless ship.

The FBI defines terrorism as acts of violence used to achieve political, religious, or ideological goals. . .A simpler equation would be terrorism equals killing civilians. An Israeli soldier defiling a religious idol bares no weight next to killing a kid. I wish they destroyed +60k New Testaments and +40k crucifixes, than killing another human being.

BTW we're all atheists to someone else's God.
