This merely demonstrates the fragility of our population. Individuals seem more inclined to opt for lower prices on essential goods, even if it means permitting a terrorist organization to acquire a nuclear weapon. How much did our society endure during the Civil War, World War I, and World War II? Indeed, the current times are challenging due to soaring fuel prices; however, in the long run, our children will not have to live in fear of nuclear destruction.
