Educational attainment varies dramatically across the country, and the latest WalletHub rankings highlight the metro areas with the lowest share of college-educated adults. While these communities face different economic and educational challenges, the rankings offer a snapshot of where bachelor’s degree attainment remains the lowest in the U.S.
According to WalletHub’s latest analysis, Laredo, Texas ranks as the least educated metro area in America, followed by Brownsville–Harlingen and McAllen–Edinburg–Mission.

As undocumented individuals depart from our community, it is anticipated that our educational ratings will enhance. Furthermore, transitioning from funding our educational institutions based on attendance to a model that emphasizes educational achievements should also lead to improved ratings. It is essential to cease regarding our educational institutions as mere daycare services. Disruptive students who exhibit a lack of interest in learning should be directed towards vocational programs or sent home, thereby removing them from the classroom environment where they contribute to disturbances.
College degrees are not for everyone. Blue collar workers are capable of
obtaining employment paying lucrative wages. Using undocumented workers as a fall guy for all this country's shortcomings, is bullshit. College grads need to make sure that employment opportunities are available in their chosen field of study. If not, that degree is not worth the paper it is printed on.
