Donald "Diarrhea" Trump is a dangerous and increasingly deranged fool of the highest order, and he has surrounded himself with obedient dolts who are left to do whatever they want. There is no meaningful oversight by Trump of the actions of his cabinet. I can't think of a single example of competence in the entire US administration.
This method of leadership provides him with the perfect opportunity to sack any of his obedient idiots when he thinks their actions might reflect badly on him.

professed his love for the president. How creepy is that? All his cabinet does that. Reminiscent of the North Korean regime. All but two of the Republicans voted for Blanche’s confirmation. The GOP places Trump’s interests above the taxpayers. Vote them out.

This is the result that numerous astute individuals had foreseen. A president does not have the authority to control the pricing of goods; that responsibility lies with the consumers. If you believe that something is excessively priced, the solution is simple: do not purchase it. Consider the example of the $20 burrito; it would be unwise to pay such a price. We, the consumers, have the power to convey a message to those companies that perceive us as being at their mercy.
